Cook time ~15-35mins
Cooking Instructions
If you're using an oven, preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place aluminum foil on a sheet pan, add mushrooms, onions, garlic, soy sauce, mirin, miso, butter. Mix everything together.
Fold the foil together to form an enclosed pouch to prevent sauce from spilling out.
If you're using an air fryer, cook for 15-18 mins on 350 degrees. If you're using an oven, bake for 30-35 mins.
Let cool for 3-5 mins after it's cooked.
Tips & Notes
Mix different mushroom varieties for the best texture β some chewy, some delicate
Trim and separate clusters (enoki, beech) so they cook evenly
Melt the miso butter slightly before tossing for even coating
Double-wrap the foil so the packet doesn't leak in the air fryer or oven
Open carefully β steam escapes fast and it's hot!
Great over rice, with grilled meat, or as a side for KBBQ night!
