Cooking Instructions

WASH YOUR VEGGIES

  • Wash and prep your veggies and herbs before getting started.

Make the dressing

  • In a large bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, neutral oil, rice vinegar, and honey until combined.

Toss the salad

  • To the same bowl, add shredded cabbage, green onions, and sesame seeds.

  • Toss well until everything is evenly coated.

  • Let sit for 5-10 minutes to allow the cabbage to soften slightly and soak up the dressing.

Serve

  • Top with an extra sprinkle of sesame seeds and serve.

Tips & Notes

  • Slice the cabbage as thin as you can — it makes a big difference in how the dressing coats every piece.

  • This salad actually gets better after sitting for 30 minutes to an hour in the fridge.

  • Keeps well in the fridge for up to 2 days, though the cabbage will continue to soften over time.

  • Great alongside anything grilled, like at home kbbq!
