noms on repeat 🔁

out of all the noms i’ve tried in the city, here’s a list i always go back to because they’re THAT good

Leroy & Lewis BBQ

Address: 5621 Emerald Forest Dr, Austin, TX 78745

Cuisine: BBQ

this new american/texas bbq fusion is so worth it. they sell out of their meats by dinner, i highly recommend going for lunch! they also do steak frites nights only from thurs-sun!

Suerte

Address: 1800 East 6th Street, Austin, TX 78702

Cuisine: Mexican

one of my favorite more upscale mexican restaurants to take visitors. their suadero tacos, ceviche, tetela de birria with a nada paloma are a must try!

Canje

Address: 1914 E 6th St Ste c, Austin, TX 78702

Cuisine: Caribbean

i always start with the ceviche. however, canje has the best roti i’ve ever had in my life, the jerk chicken is so moist but fair warning its VERY spicy. guarantee every bite is a flavor bomb in your mouth. do not skip out on the coconut rice and roti, the food’s a little salty but it’s meant to be eaten with sides, not individually!

Ezov

Address: 2708 E Cesar Chavez St, Austin, TX 78702

Cuisine: Eastern Mediterranean

another amazing flavorful experience, i don’t know what else to say other than, please go try this place if you haven’t already!

Este

Address: 2113 Manor Rd, Austin, TX 78722

Cuisine: Mexican, Seafood

cravings mexican AND fresh seafood? do not leave without trying ceviche, aguachile, guacamole, and tuna tiradito — and that’s just to start! they have a great happy hour as well! my favorite drinks are the olmec old fashioned or the sombra.

Intero

Address: 2612 E Cesar Chavez St Ste 105, Austin, TX 78702

Cuisine: Italian

one of the few good italian places in the city. their pastas are unique, the pizza is pretty good, but their apps are the star. i’d go just to get the wagyu beef carpaccio and focaccia with ricotta with honey
